Description

1916-1918 216th (Toronto Bantams) Infantry Battalion Smith and Wesson Mark II English Service revolver, s/no. 49077/3126. Rectangular blued steel butt with two chequered walnut grips. Blued steel solid frame with swing-out, six round capacity cylinder. Fittings of ejector rod with internal ejector, butt lanyard swivel. Caliber .455 inch cylindrical blued steel barrel 6.25 in (16cm) long. Rear-sight a "U" notch in stirrup catch, frontsight a fixed blade.
