Description

1918 The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, Companion. Gold seven-pointed star with white-enamelled arms, each ending in a "V" At top is Imperial crown. Centre is blue-enamelled border with gold title "AUSPICIUM MELIORIS AEVI" Inside border on obverse is red/white/blue enamelled gold emblem of St. George fighting Satan (reverse shows green/white/red/blue enamelled gold emblem of St. George fighting dragon. Suspender of fixed ring at top with loose ring, through which is a 4 x 72 cm. blue-red-blue neck ribbon. Depicted in the middle row.
