Description

The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, Companion Class. Obverse a seven-rayed gold/white enamelled star, surmounted by gold Imperial Crown. In centre is enamelled circle showing St. Michael fighting Satan. Reverse shows St. George fighting a dragon. Blue enamel circle with gold title "Auspicium Melioris Aevi" (Token of a Better Age). Suspender a ring on crown, ribbon is dark blue, red, dark blue, folded, 3.7 x 19 cm. Center row of medal group.
