Description

The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, Companion Level (miniature). Seven rayed gold metal/white enamelled star surmounted by gold Imperial Crown. In centre is enamelled representation of St. Michael fighting Satan. On reverse is enamelled representation of St. George fighting the dragon. Circle of blue enamel/gilt lettering "Auspicium Melioris Aevi" (token of a better age). Suspender a ring on crown, ribbon is dark blue, red, dark blue, 1.5 x 3.7 cm. In the top row of medal group, first from the left.
