Description

The Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George, to Major-General Robert Rennie. Gold/enamel seven-pointed star with top point surmounted by gilt Royal crown. In centre obverse the enamelled figure of Saint George fighting the Devil, on the reverse the enamelled figure of Saint George fighting a dragon. Blue enamelled circle with gilt title "Auspicium Melioris Aevi" Fixed loop at top with ring. Ribbon is blue, red, blue, 3.7 x 17 cm.
