Description

1914-1920 British War Medal. Circular, silver. Obverse an uncrowned head King George V with circled legend "Georgivs V Britt Omn Rex Et Ind Imp" Reverse a naked horseman trampling over Prussian skull, bones, shield. Sun and dates "1914" "1918" at top. Plain, straight, non-swivelling suspender, ribbon is blue, black, white, orange, white, black, blue, 3.6 x 6.5 cm.
