Description

1914-1919 Allied Victory Medal w/Mentioned In Despatches oakleaf, to BRIG. GEN. R. RENNIE. Circular, copper lacquered bronze. Obverse a winged Victory holding a palm leaf branch. Reverse is title in four lines "The Great War For Civilization 1914-1919" surrounded by laurel wreath. Stamped rim. Fixed loop at top with loose ring. Ribbon is watered violet, blue, green, yellow, orange, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, 3.5 x 6.5 cm. pinned to ribbon is a copper oakleaf 7 mm. x 3.2 cm.
