1917-1918 Belgian Croix de Guerre with palm. Bronze. Pierced Belgian Royal Crown atop Maltese Cross with double pointed arms (ball on each point). In arms of Cross are blades and handles of two swords. In centre of Cross is circled Belgian lion rampant. Suspender of loose ring at top of crown. Ribbon is orange-red with five stripes medium green, 3.2 x 9 cm. Pinned to ribbon is a bronze oak leaf 1.7 x 3 cm. Court-mounted.
