Circular, silver.Obverse crowned bust King George VI with circled title " Georgivs:VI:D:G:BR:OMN:REX ET INDIAE IMP:" Reverse lion atop supine dragon and eagle with title "1939-1945" Suspender fixed claw and plain bar. Ribbon is red-blue-red-blue. In centre are three thin stripes white-red-white. Court-mounted. Depicted in the top row of medals, third from the right.
