Description

1940's Canadian Red Cross cap w/badge made of blue-grey serge wool. The crown and body are not stiffened unlike the peak, which is stiffened. The neck guard is folded and stitched to the body. The chinstrap is made of the same blue-grey wool with two loops made of the same material. The badge denotes the Canadian Red Cross Corps and has the Canadian Red Cross emblem in the centre. The cap is lined with cream silk. The sweatband is made of leather painted white. The badge pin pierces through the lining and is left uncovered and visible on the inside.
