Description

1914-1920 British War Medal, miniature. Circular, silver. Obverse an uncrowned bust King George V with title "GEORGIVS V BRITT OMN REX ET IND IMP" Reverses a naked horseman with sword, trampling on a Prussian shield, skull, crossed bones. At top, sides, are dates "1914" "1918" and a sun. Suspender a straight, non-swivelling bar. Ribbon is blue, black, white, orange, white, black, blue, 1.5 x 3.5 cm. Depicted in the bottom row of medals, third from the left.
