1939-1945 War Medal, with "Mentioned-In-Dispatches" oak leaf. Circular, cupro-niclel. Obverse crowned head of King George VI, title "Geoergivs VI D:G: Br:Omn:Rex Et Indiae Imp:" Reverse a lion standing on a two-headed dragon, title "1939-1945" Suspender is plain, straight, non-swivelling bar, with ribbon red, blue, white, red, white, blue, red, 3 x 7.2 cm. On ribbon is sewn a holed bronze oakleaf 1 x 3.5 cm (This for "Mentioned-In-Despatches") Depicted third from the right.
