The object is a photograph of the Mandalay railway and dockyards in Burma. It was taken approximately on June 7, 1944. There is red lettering on the upper half of the photograph that is illegible. There are also a couple minor markings in the same red marker on the left hand side of the upper half othe photo. On the bottom of the photograph is written the following sequence in white lettering: "EA/311 681.7 JUN 44//F/20" with an arrow pointing right. Key features of the photograph include the coastline which curves sharply to the left in the bottom half of the photograph.
