Use

During the Great War, two Canadian tank battalions went overseas. Specifically, the 1st Tank Battalion arrived in England in June 1918. It included 92 officers and 716 soldiers from the rank and file. Many of its members were university students and possessed technical knowledge and skills. Unfortunately, the 1st Tank Battalion did not see combat in France as the war ended by November 1918.
