1940-1942 Canadian Army Mark II steel helmet with camo scrim. rimmed light bowl shape, with matte light olive-green finish. Camo scrim covers entirety of outer shell, comprised of light brown hessian net and knots of olive-green and brown leather straps. Underside features a rubberised canvas suspension system attached to the helmet by a screw bolt anf four-armed pad base. Elasticated web and cotton Chinstrap (3cm wide, 40cm long) fixed by bales on either side. No discernable maker's mark, but most likely manufactured by C.L./C. between 1940 and 1942.Made/Created
