Description

1917-1918 painted 2nd pattern Brodie helmet with 1st Mortar Battery insignia. Circular basin shape, manganese steel. Dark khaki green paint 70% of which remains. Insignia is 6.5cm x 7cm white shield with 4.5cm red bomb, red 7cm x 5.5cm rectangle on right side indicating First Division. Small dent on top and three small holes on both left and right rims of helmet. Black oilskin liner and leather chinstrap in fair condition. Rubber doughnut missing.
