1939-1945 Canadian Voluntary Service Medal. Circular, silver. Obverse shows seven marching figures representing men and women of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Nursing Sisters. Title reads "1939 CANADA 1945 VOLONTARY SERVICE VOLONTAIRE." Reverse shows Canadian Coat of Arms. Suspension of loose ring, fixed ring, bar. Ribbon is green-red-blue-red-green. Two silver bars 7 mm x 3.5 cms: for overseas service and HONG KONG (stylized circled HK and title HONG KONG). Medal not numbered, has been plated, court-mounted in group of six medals.Made/Created
