1914-1919 Allied Victory Medal authorization slip, Canadian version. Rectangular, tan paper. At top in red ink or paint is embossed British coat of arms. Below is text in black: "His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to authorize the issue of the enclosed medal, which I am directed by the Honourable the Minister of Militia and Defence to convey to you herewith." Signed below by Adjutant-General, Canadian Militia.
