Description

1940 Canadian Army Mark II steel helmet. Circular, basin shaped, mid-khaki green smooth painted manganese steel. Canadian Headquarters green circle (5 cm diam.) on left/right sides. Separate crimped rim. Black rubber/canvas lining fastened by top screw and two steel bands. Elasticized green cotton chinstrap fastened to two rivetted bales. Chinstrap is 2.5 x 44.5 cms.
