Photograph "Princess Louise's Dragoon Guards, Ottawa, 1901(?)." 4 1/4 X 6 inch sepia-toned black/white photograph "Princess Louise Dragoon Guards, London, England, 1902." Detail shows rank of five private soldiers. Man on left is in fact and Artillery trumpeter, in white Wolseley helmet, dark blue service dress tunic trousers, leather leggings, riding boots. Equipment of Oliver pattern waistbelt, slung bugle. Four Cavalry troopers (one a Corporal) wear full dress helmet/plume, blue service dress tunics, trousers, wellington boots and spurs. Equipment of white buff All wear 1899-1901 South Africa War Medal, shoulder the 1899-1902 Lee-Engield Carbine Mark I.
