Obverse is crowned head King George VI with title "Georgivs G Br Omn Rex Et Indiae Imp" Reverse shows lion standing on body of eagle/hydra-headed dragon with title "1939" "1945" Suspender is plain, straight bar with toe claw, ribbon is red, blue, white, red, white, blue, red, 1.6 x 4 cm.
