Description

1850-1890 British civilian shot flask. Tapered pear-shaped brown cowhide body, two piece stitched down seam. At base is stitched leather loop holding steel "D" ring. At top is knurled circular brass bolster holding a brass spout activated by spring-loaded brass lever/door screwed/mounted on one side of spout. Leather body stamp/decorated with hunting scene of horse and rider, Setter dog, Heather bush.
