1820-1839 British Army/Canadian Militia Officer's epaulette. "T" shaped sheet metal plate padded with dark blue wool edged with 1.8 cm. wide silver lace. At shoulder end is a brass crescent with dark blue wool padding inside arms of the crescent. One stripe of silver lace joins arms of the crescent. At neck end is a brass grommet-lined hole for a button.Made/Created
