Description

1914-1918 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles Colt M1911 semi-automatic pistol, s/no. C 4687. Rectangular blued steel butt with two chequered brown walnut grips. Blued steel frame and slide. Fittings of grip safety, left side magazine release button, left slide locking latch. Caliber .45 inch cylindrical blued steel barrel 5 in (12.7cm) long. Rearsight a fixed "U" notch, fixed blade frontsight.
