1916-1919 BEF/CEF Private Soldier's Stretcher Bearer Armlet. A Great War medical armlet made from cloth. The letters 'S' and 'B' are stitched in the center. They are an abbreviation for Stretcher Bearer.

For context, see 1914-1918 BEF/CEF medical corps armband/headband. Also, there were two distinct types of medical armlets during the war. At the regimental level, stretcher-bearers wore an armlet with "SB." The other armband depicted "S" and "B" on either side of the Red Cross.
