1940-1945 Royal Canadian Navy officer's service dress cap. Black wool crown/body. Black mohair cap band, black leather cap cord 1 cm. wide x 23 cms. long with two black cotton-covered leather buttons, two-piece black leather peak. Interior crown liner of black sateen, brown leather sweatband. Stitched to black mohair cap band is a Royal Canadian Navy officer's cap badge: red velvet King's Crown atop gold bullion wire laurel wreath, white metal fouled anchor in centre.Made/Created
