Description

1939-1945 War Medal. Circular, silver. Obverse shows crowned head of King George VI with title "GEORGIVS VI D G BR OMN REX ET INDIAE IMP" Reverse shows lion standing on body of double-headed (eagle and dragon) dragon, with title "1939 1945" Plain, straight suspender with ribbon red, blue, white, blue, red. The white stripe has a thin red stripe in centre. Ribbon is 3.5 x 9 cm. Depicted in the row of medals, second from the right.
