1918 116th (Ontario County, Ontario) Infantry Battalion Christmas card. The cover of the card reads:"Canada Overseas Battalion, 116, Fidelis Et Paratus, Ontario County, The O.S. Battalion. C.E.F, In The Field France" First page has a list of battalions and soldiers. It indicates those who are part of the company and also the sick and wounded from England and Canada. The second page is in gold metallic lettering, it reads: "True happiness consists not in the multitude of friends, but in their worth and choice- Ben Jonson" "To Wish You A Happy New Year from Lieut.- Colonel Sam Sharpe, M.P.. and Officers of the 116th (Ontario County) Canadian Infantry Battn.
