1914-1919 Allied Victory Medal, to LIEUT. MORRISON. The Allied Victory Medal includes a rainbow ribbon, representing international Allies and friendships. The bronze medal depicts Victory, the personification of her namesake in Ancient Roman and Greek cultures. One arm is outstretched while the other holds a palm branch, representing peace. The back of the medal reads, "THE GREAT / WAR FOR / CIVILISATION / 1914-1919." The inscription is surrounded by a laurel wreath. This medal was awarded to Lieut. David Morrison, and his name is inscribed around the rim of the medal.
