1916 Canadian Expeditionary Forces 118th North Waterloo Infantry Battalion Lieutenant's cap. The body, the cap band, and the peak are made of khaki green twill wool. The body has two brass grommets (1 cm) on either side. Two brass British general listing buttons are on either side of a leather chin strap (30.5 cm), adjustable with two rectangular brass buckles (1 cm wide x 1.2 cm high). The badge is the Canadian Expeditionary Forces 118th North Waterloo Infantry Battalion and fixed with a pin on the inside. The sweatband is made of a brown leather. The crown body is lined with a tan, silk or cotton twill.Context
