Description
The object is a photograph of Imphal grasslands in Burma. It was taken approximately October 1944. Key features in the picture are the low lying hills in the background, a tree and houses on the left side of the photograph and a stream cutting through the middle of the grasslands. On the back is written in pen "Imphal Oct/44".
