Winslow Mortimer pen/ink cartoon entitled "A Firecracker for the Colonel." This cartoon shows an officer, perhaps a Colonel, standing with his arms behind his back. Behind him a soldier has placed a firecracker on the ground and is in the midst of lighting it. The officer is quite a large man, and he is wearing a cap and high boots. The cartoon is not signed.
