Note
Harry Penny was an active sailor during RHYC’s celebrated Six Metre era of the 1950s and 1960s and later sailed his Viking 28, EVENSTAR, extensively on Lake Ontario. Sailing was a lifelong passion, and his deep knowledge and affection for the Club ultimately led him to author “One Hundred Years and Still Sailing! A History of Hamilton Yachts, Yachtsmen and Yachting, 1888 to 1988”, published as part of the Club’s Centennial.
