Memorial Cross "In Memory of the Officers and N.C.O.s and Men of the 14th Canadian Batt. Royal Montreal Regt. who were killed in action in Sept. 1916 & are buried near this spot". There is a plaque on the cross beneath that inscription with the names of the fallen on it. The cross was standing in front of a partially demolished brick wall.
