Retiring Commanding Officer of The Royal Montreal Regiment, Lieutenant Colonel Jacques Girardin is receiving his official portrait from his successor Lieutenant Colonel George Javornik. He is about to add it to The Commanding Officers Photo Gallery Wall in the Officers' Mess. This is a tradition followed by the leaving Commanding Officers of the Regiment.
