The living and sleeping accommodations for military personnel at the Kandahar Airfield. They would sleep in an airconditioned rigid structure placed on a concrete pad.
Many soldiers would transit through the large international military base of Kandahar Airfield. These temporary accommodations were similar but without the concrete pad. That meant a lot of crushed stone and dust would accumulate in the tent.
