Private Joe H. Langley (later Lieutenant) of The Royal Montreal Regiment football team. The team was formed in 1949 as part of the Quebec Amateur Football League and was very active throughout the late 1940s into the 1950s. The RMR home field was the Westmount Athletic Ground shown here behind Langley. Many soldiers joined the Regiment during this period for it's sports programs.
