A page from what was likely once a scrapbook of photos belonging to Brigadier William Okell Holden Dodds and his wife, Jean Tyre.
Brigadier Dodds was the Honorary Colonel of the RMR between 1920 until his death in 1934. He also served with the 5th Division Artillery in WW1. His wife, Jean (Tyre) Dodds was very involved in the patriotic fund throughout the war.
The photos include a signed black and white portrait of Brig. Dodds in uniform. A sepia full body photo of Jean Tyre as a young woman, holding an umbrella behind a wooden fence. Her hair is down and she is wearing a dress with a large ribbon around the neck. The fourth photo is a full body photo of Brig. Dodds in uniform outside during WW1 and the last is a faded sepia portrait of a middle-aged Jean Dodds.
Brigadier Dodds lived from 1967-1934 and Jean Tyre Dodds lived from 1873 - 1937. The couple is buried together at the Mount Royal Cemetery.
