Glass plate *positive* photo of the interior of the barn at Quillcote, author Kate Douglas Wiggin's residence in Hollis, Maine. A piano can be seen on the stage. Kate Douglas Wiggin's "The Barn" was a popular jam room for local musicians in the Buxton/Hollis area. The photographer Bradbury was likely preparing these photos to create postcards. Many of these postcards of Quillcote are still widely available today and sold by antique ephemera dealers.Made/Created
