Cotton christening dress with net lace and vandyke trim. Wide square neck and short sleeves. The two bands of trim on the bodice and the sleeves flank an embroidered floral motif. All of the net lace trim is the same except that on the waistband, which lacks the vandyke edging. Two vertical bands of trim on the outside edges of the front of the skirt. Two rows of the same trim above the hem with a narrow band of plain cotton in between. The hems of the skirt is trimmed with vandykes, as are the sleeves. Opens at the back with no signs of closures.
