Description

Wool broadcloth cloak with a standup collar; composed of a number of pieces both on the inside and the outer portion and interlined with buckram. Body of the cloak is pieced horizontally half way down the garment, with additional semicircular pieces along the front bottom edges in order to complete the circle. All seams handsewn with yellow thread in a running stitch or backstitch. All seams and the hem are left raw. Cloak closes at the front with a single button, place on two small tabs attached to the front edges.
