Black wool coat with brown plush-like facings; cutaway hem with tails at the back. Trimmed with 1 1/2" round buttons covered with the same plush. Six down the front, two in front of the cape-like collar, one on each shoulder, two on the cuffs, two at the top of the tails and three diagonally arranged going down the facing. The facings, the cuffs are trimmed with the same 1/2" metallic braid. The collar has a similar 1" metallic braid. The sleeve cuffs are trimmed with wide net lace; 4 3/4" exposed below the hem of the cuff. Open pleat in the back with plush facing.
