Waist-length coat of olive green wool, woven in a twill weave, having long tails with straight hems in the back. Red velvet standing collar, cuffs, and trim on the outside of the tails. Three columns of round ball-shaped buttons on the front; only the middle column is functional. Applied off-white braid outlines the collar. The same trim runs from the outer buttons to the center opening of the front of the coat. The braid also appears on the tails in graduated fashion with the same buttons on the tails. The upper part of the coat and the sleeves are lined with a fine yellow and white striped linen fabric. The tails are unlined.
