Family register sampler made by Sarah Moody of Saco in 1812, when she was 26. Worked in silk thread in cross and straight stitches on green linsey-woolsey fabric. Simple geometric border and text worked in sloping text, which is characteristic of the works of Sarah and her school.
The embroidered text reads:
