Description

Man's linen shirt with a fine cotton ruffle at the bosom opening. Felled seams. Roughly heart-shaped reinforcement at the bottom of the bosom opening. Made of a full width of linen 30 1/2" wide. Wide collar (4 3/4" wide), designed to be folded down, closes at the top with a single round thread-covered button. Both sleeve cuffs close with a single similar button. Shoulders are reinforced with large patches as are the sides of the sleeve down to the underarm gusset. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder. There are no gathers at the cuffs. Side vents reinforced with gussets.
