Description

Child's dress of striped mauve changeable silk, hand-sewn, with a glazed cotton lining. Wide neck, short sleeves trimmed with mauve and green fringe that match the colors of the silk. Full skirt gathered at the waist. Pocket in the right side seam of the skirt. The neckline, sleeves, and waistline are highlighted with self-fabric piping. Closes down the back with nine hooks and eyes. On the exterior are non-functioning, probably silk-covered, shankless buttons covered with a type of decorative netting. The same buttons are attached to the top of the sleeves.
