Description

Girl's white cotton communion dress worn and owned by Lena Lavigne who made her 1st Holy Communion at St. Joseph's Church in Biddeford, ME. The dress was made by her mother of fine white cotton and features a round neck, attached ruffle (5.5") below the neck and over the shoulders, and long sleeves. The top of the ruffle is covered with a textured tape sewn along its top and bottom edges. Long sleeves gathered at wrist with lace trim, 10 buttons on back. Drawn work “crosses” down the bodice, the sleeve cuffs, and the skirt. Drawstring waist.
