Description

Blue velvet dress, dropped waist, attached skirt with a scalloped hem with tricot edge. Boat neckline is trimmed with an asymmetrical gold lace with a flower leaf pattern and netting. Long narrow sleeves open at the cuff that snap at the wrist and decorated with five round buttons with rhinestones. At the elbow the sleeves have a pleat on the outside and a row of tucks on the inside. On the left side of the dropped waist, a piece of the same blue fabric is sewn on; it is gathered at the top three inches. Near the top it is decorated with a rectangular pin with rhinestones and gold beads, now two missing. Sleeveless cotton lining that goes down to the waist. The lace at the back of the neckline is 13 1/2 inches long.
