Description

Uncompleted marking sampler made by Dorothy Evans. It has a blue sawtooth border wrked in satin stitch, with a house and three trees at the bottom. Above are three sets of alphabet and one of numbers in variety of colors (pink, white, black, blue, green). Inscribed "Dorothy Evans" and "oddard," probably for Stoddard, New Hampshire.
