Description

Padded bonnet with a striped pink and brown silk exterior. Lined with brown glazed cotton. Batting is probably wool. Double ruffle around the face with a narrow hem. The back of the head is quilted with six rows of parallel stitching on the diagonal. Self-bow on the back at nape of the neck. Attached collar. Plaid ribbon tie at the neck, also of pink and brown silk, but not the same fabric as the exterior; it appears to have been shortened. One tie is missing.
